Welcome Lutheran Church will be awarding scholarships to students enrolling in college or technical school in the Fall of 2026, as well as to students working on graduate courses.
Applications must be received by April 1, 2026.
Scholarship recipients must be members of Welcome Lutheran Church. The scholarship will be payable directly to the institution and may be used at any college, university, Lutheran seminary, or trade school. Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Participation at Welcome Lutheran Church
- Need
- Character/Integrity
- Scholastic Achievement (at least a 2.0 GPA)
A letter written by the applicant describing his/her educational goals, your need for this scholarship, and how this scholarship will help you attain your goals should accompany the scholarship application.
The completed scholarship applications must be returned to the Welcome Lutheran Church. You may complete the application using Adobe Acrobat Reader or by hand. They may be emailed, mailed, or dropped off in the LYO box near
the copy machine (council room) at church.
