Welcome hosts STMD meeting
Welcome Lutheran hosted the NALC South Texas Mission District (STMD) Meeting on April 13, 2011. Out of the 24 churches in the STMD, 21 of them were represented. Lutheran's for Life gave the opening presentation followed by a powerful presentation on Leadership. The Women of Welcome prepared a delicious lunch consisting of Chicken Spaghetti, salad and wonderful desserts. The business meeting was held in the afternoon which included reports from Mission Congregations, Lutheran Women, and the election of recording secretary as well as other business. Approximately 55 people (lay delegates as well as Pastors) attended the meeting.
